Thursday, July 19. Depart from Grand Rapids, MI for Marquette, MI around 9 am. We will make one stop along 75 in northern Michigan for lunch. We’ll arrive in Marquette in the late afternoon, set up camp and enjoy a tasty dinner around the campfire, followed by a bonfire, smores and some fun.

Friday, July 20. We’ll rise (and shine!) by 7:30a to drink some hearty coffee and eat a hearty breakfast before we start our skills clinic at 9:30a. Participants will be assessed and broken up into groups based on experience and goals. Both groups will then spend the morning working through drills in an open area at the campsite. We’ll break for lunch and some relaxation for a few hours before taking groups out on the trail for some trailside instruction. We’ll return to the campsite around 4:30p to rest and recovery. We’ll wrap up the evening with a tasty meal and chill for the evening at the campfire.

Saturday, July 21. Breakfast will be served around 8am and then we’ll all gear up to hit the NTN South trails for the morning. We’ll return to the campsite for lunch and then load up the van with our bikes, swimsuits and a change of clothes and head over to see what the NTN North trails have to offer.  We make a stop at Blackrocks (the geologic land feature) for some cliff jumping and a cool off swim in Lake Superior and then a stop at Blackrocks (the landmark brewery) for a beer or two before heading somewhere in downtown Marquette for dinner. We’ll roll back into camp whenever we darn well feel like it Saturday night and settle in for a much needed night’s sleep.

Sunday, July 22. Rise and shine! We’ll throw on our gear and grab our bikes to enjoy a sunrise breakfast on the trail where we’ll eat and soak in the last of that magical Marquette vibe before heading back to camp to pack up. We’ll plan on hitting the road by 11am. We’ll stop along the way to grab some lunch and maybe stop to take in a little scenery and a refreshing swim along US 2 before returning home. We’ll plan to be back in Grand Rapids around 6p.
